Srinagar, Jul 12 (KNO): The three-day national-level exhibition “Bharat Sanrachna Jammu & Kashmir 2025” concluded here at Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) on Saturday, drawing enthusiastic crowds and widespread participation from students, professionals and local families.
Organised by Tarmeh Events under the guidance of Rajya Sabha MP Ghulam Ali Khatana, the event brought together over 60 premier national institutions, including DRDO, ISRO, ICMR, CSIR, NHPC, ICAR and the Geological Survey of India under one roof, to showcase India’s developmental journey and vision for Viksit Bharat @2047.
According to the details collected by the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), over the past three days, visitors engaged with interactive exhibits, live demonstrations, workshops, youth zones and cultural stalls.
“The event focused on a wide spectrum of sectors including science, healthcare, defence, space, agriculture, water innovation, tourism, digital technology and local crafts,” the officials told KNO.
They said, on the final day, special career guidance booths, student interaction zones and skill-building workshops saw large participation from school and college students across the Valley.
Moreover, visitors praised the unique experience, saying this was the first time they saw a satellite model and learned how rockets work and also the other things.
Faheem, a Class 10 student from Srinagar, said he was amazed to see such innovations and a grand exhibition of multiple organisations under one roof in Srinagar.
Notably, a highlight of the final day was the Geological Survey of India’s fossil and mineral display, among other innovations.
Meanwhile, the exhibition, which remained open with free public entry from July 10 to 12 (today), was widely seen as a step towards inclusion, peace building and connecting Kashmir’s local communities to India’s national development narrative.
